Zionist Organisation of America Press Release, October 8, 2001

During the first three weeks since Yasir Arafat allegedly declared his latest
“cease-fire,” there have been at least 374 Palestinian Arab terrorist attacks,
leaving 9 Israelis dead and 64 wounded.

Morton A. Klein, National President of the Zionist Organization of America
(ZOA), which monitors Palestinian Arab terrorism against Israel, said:

“The continuing terrorism proves that Arafat’s latest promise of a
‘cease-fire’ was a lie. Arafat is the same terrorist he always was. It was an
outrage for Secretary of State Colin Powell to invite Arafat to be part of
America’s anti-terrorist coalition, and we urge President Bush to disinvite Arafat
immediately.”

Arafat issued his alleged “cease-fire” declaration on Tuesday, September 18,
2001. During the first two weeks of the “cease-fire,” there were 257 attacks in
